About C.A.R.E.S. |
|
C.A.R.E.S. (Case Animal Rights and Ethics Society) is the first animal rights club on the Case campus. This organization was founded with three goals in mind; spreading awareness about animal welfare, raising money, and promoting animal related community service and philanthropy. C.A.R.E.S. want to reach out to the members of Case’s student body that care about animal welfare and the environment, but do not know how to help or get involved. This organization is the perfect avenue for these students to get involved and help out a great cause.
C.A.R.E.S. welcomes new members. It is easy to get involved without a huge commitment. Any time a student dedicated to this club is appreciated. Although nothing is mandatory, our success is dependent upon attendance at our weekly meetings and philanthropy events. C.A.R.E.S. thrives on the participation of its members!
Members of C.A.R.E.S. strive to maintain common ideals of equality, compassion, and tolerance. We do not all have the same beliefs and views regarding animal welfare and the consumption of animal products. The members of C.A.R.E.S. know this and respect this—we want students to use C.A.R.E.S. as a venue to express and engage their own ideas while still being tolerant of others. |
